My #SOULStyle: Spring Fling
It’s no secret that I am SoulCycle obsessed. Ever since discovering Soul and my “Soul”mate instructor Noa Shaw (shout out to Noa!) in 2015, I have become increasingly hooked. Really, you guys. It has changed me.
But here’s a little fun tidbit: one of my major motivators for trying SoulCycle was the clothes! Duh. I mean, how cute is their line? And what’s even better, they switch up their pieces monthly and once they’re gone, they’re gone. So of course, when new items are released, you can bet there is a flurry of text messages between me and my besties oohing and ahhing over everything and figuring out what we need to buy immediately.
I notice that whenever I post my SoulCycle gear on Instagram, people ask me where I got it. So I thought it would be a fun series to showcase my #SOULStyle and show you how I go from my Friday night Rockstar ride to dinner, or my mid-afternoon class to a business meeting. I have been having so much fun with my personal style lately, especially since my lifestyle has changed so much since leaving my full-time job. One of the perks of entrepreneurship is that it’s perfectly acceptable to be in gym gear every single day. But you know me – I just can’t walk around in Nikes without adding a little glamour to my look. You’ll usually catch me in Nike leggings, a Soul top, my Chanel sneakers or my Converse, and my Celine mini luggage tote. I love combining casual with chic. It’s a look I’ve coined “luxe leisure” and it is so much fun.
So without further ado, here’s a look at my Spring #SOULStyle and how I do it up on and off the bike!
SoulCycle x Gregory Siff leggings and Chanel kicks
One of the coolest things about SoulCycle, in my opinion, is their connection off the bike. They are really in touch with what’s going on outside of the studio and have such a creative way of bringing that to their riders. They recently went down to Miami for Art Basel and featured an amazing installation by artist Gregory Siff. He designed an exclusive line for Soul, and of course I had to grab a few pieces. These capris were one of them. I paired them here with my Chanel sneakers to give this an even edgier look.
I honestly don’t go anywhere without my black motorcycle jacket. It’s the perfect compliment to my workout gear, and adds instant coolness to basically any outfit. Throw it on over a tee or tank after a class and you’re ready for anything!
Iridescent bomber. No other words necessary.
Umm, I laid eyes on this jacket and I swear it spoke to my soul (pun completely intended). I don’t know where to begin. It’s the color of mermaids, for starters. Futuristic Japanese superhero mermaid hologram bad ass? Does that cover it? Either way, I feel like I need to book the next flight to Tokyo and walk around looking like the coolest person on the planet in this thing. It is so cutting edge I can barely handle it.
